Insurance companies all have catchy slogans designed to make the consumer think they really care about him or her. However, the simple fact is that insurance companies are a business and if they can avoid paying a claim, they will. The adjuster’s goal is to pay you as little as possible to obtain a signed release of all claims. Do you really believe the following slogans?:

• Allstate – “The good hands people”
• Farmers—“We get you back to where you belong”
• Travelers – “Delivering on the promise”
• Progressive – “Not only do we get the job done, we get it done right – our integrity is just as important to us as our profit”
